Thankfully my dev skills are much superior to my grasp of the french language, building hand-written jQuery, HTML5 and CSS on the front-end; custom WordPress themes; native mobile development with Titanium; web apps with PHP or Rails.
I have worked in web development for twelve years where I held three permanent positions at two different companies working for small businesses, e-commerce sites, promotional microsites and large interactive projects. In January 2009, I setup the design blog Bitique with Neil Ramsbottom and in April 2010 I went freelance, working with agencies such as TBWA\Manchester, SMRS, Eskimo Creative, Oneighty Creative, WRG Creative Communication and TwentySixDigital.
I like minimal design, semantic markup, graceful degradation, responsive web design and most varieties of tea-based beverages.
I don’t like full Flash sites, the infamous IE6, changing fonts to Comic Sans on client request, instant coffee and using that smelly studio mouse that’s seen better days.
I am sometimes on Twitter, rarely on Linkedin and never on Google+ but still, feel free to get in touch. My current CV is available by clicking the word here.
